Culture-Sensitive Coaching in English
For expatriates who need personal support with issues around living, working or studying in Germany, cross-cultural relationships, conflicts or other things that are challenging or burdening I'm glad to offer culture-sensitive coaching and training in English.
Our culture-specific upbringing has shaped the way we think life is, how things should be done, and conflicts resolved. If you come from another culture you will know about the challenges of adapting and how frustrating it can sometimes be, especially if you have other values or communication patterns.
Having supported and trained international students, staff and volunteers for many years I will help you better understand the different cultural patterns so you can handle the differences with more ease and self-confidence.
You may meet me online or in person.

Here´s what a client says:
"Angelika and I went to the forest (Forest Bathing) where we walked and talked on a few beautiful summer afternoons. I was stuck by this form of counselling - talking while walking in the beautiful forests! I felt that I had space to think well and creatively in nature (especially in comparison to all the hours spent in a room behind a screen, working). The form of the Forest Bathing also resulted in the dissolution of the coach/ coachee divide which worked in making the session more organic for me. In addition to the form, I am impressed by Angelika´s warm nature and her expertise - her compassionate and insightful way of providing counselling as well as her vast knowledge of intercultural differences and conflict resolution. Thank you Angelika!" (Maya, Indian researcher)
